Bando Story

Our country, Korea, is also divided into North and South, and, based on the observation that electronic components are manufactured by combining physically opposite characteristics, we decided on the name of the company ‘Ban Do Semiconductor’.

As the first specialized electronic component company in the Gyeongnam region, from December 1983, we acquired GENT SHIP from 33 companies in 12 countries including the USA, UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Japan, and India.
After securing a basic inventory of 1300 items for each material, and a preparation period of 6 months, we started our business in May 1984.

Currently, based on an inventory of over 6800 types of items, we handle not only the components of the companies attached to each material but also precision measuring equipment and high-voltage and high-power control precision parts required by the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials (KIMM) and the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI), factory automation parts for productivity improvement and quality enhancement.
For civilian use, we provide parts for electronic microwaves, washing machines, elevators, heating and cooling equipment. Especially, we handle parts for currently operating security equipment.

For industrial use, we supply parts for automatic component inserters (CHIP MOUNT, SMT), WIRE BOUND parts, PLC, INVERTER, electrical discharge machining, machine tools, CNC, VISION MACHINE, and broadcasting equipment for KBS, MBC, and other networks, as well as parts for precision medical devices like MRI, CT, and other medical equipment.

For defense components, we handle parts required by the Korean aerospace and the Air Force, including parts for aircraft and artificial satellites, unmanned aerial vehicles, and electronic equipment parts operated by the Army and Navy for ground, maritime, and underwater diving equipment.

We handle these through relevant security registration and certification, contributing to the advancement of precision field and domestic production.
